Inakay (pronounced “ee-na-kai"; "ee" like the vowels in "see" and "ai" as the diphthong in "Hawaiian") is a Pilipino word containing the word “mother” ("ina," pronounced "eena"). Inakay is used here both as a noun and a verb.
